Financial Assistant

The Financial Assistant will be performing day-to-day accounting functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial management processes, including accounts payable, filing, accounts receivable, donor maintenance and distribution of 1099’s.

Grant Specialist

The Grant Specialist will complete a variety of tasks in support of the Grants Program including documentation and organization of grant applications, facilitation and support for grant review processes, communication coordination between the organization and grant seekers, and maintaining a strong knowledge of the CCAKS database (WorkLife Systems).

Data Specialist

The Data Specialist will support in data integration, collection, and analyzation to assist Child Care Aware of Kansas in making data informed decisions and developing report capabilities. 

Senior Program Manager – Child Care Health Consultant Network

The Senior Program Manager serves as a member of the program leadership team for the Child Care Health Consultant Network. Working in collaboration with program leadership, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for oversight and implementation of Tier 1, Tier 2, and Tier 3 Health Consultation, including staffing, supervision, process development and implementation, and overall accountability for service provision. Professional development and training of assigned Child Care Health Consultant team members, promotion, and policy and procedure implementation are primary focuses.

The Community Consultant delivers services that support child care programs and providers to improve program quality with a high focus on achievement, review, and assessment of child care provider-led quality improvement goals focused on strong business practices.

Child Care Health Consultant (Tier 1)

The Child Care Health Consultant supports the recruitment, successful licensing, and initial start-up/operations of new child care providers by providing holistic, strength-based, individualized coaching and support. The Consultant works collaboratively with the Child Care Health Consultant Network team to enhance the health, safety, and wellness of young children, families, and staff in child care/early childhood settings. the Consultant collaborates with directors, teachers, and family child care providers to support compliance with regulations/standards and promote best practices to ensure children’s safe and healthy development.
