Financial Assistant
The Financial Assistant will preform day-to-day accounting functions of the organization in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles and financial management processes, including accounts payable, filing, accounts receivable, donor maintenance and distribution of 1099’s.
Grants Specialist
The Grants Specialists will complete a variety of tasks in support of the project needs including documentation and organization of grant applications, facilitation of and support for grant review processes – including tracking of receipts and detailed financial information, communication coordination between the organization and grant seekers, and maintaining a strong knowledge of the Child Care Aware of Kansas database.

Program Assistant – Child Care Health Consultant
The Program Assistant – Child Care Health Consultant completes a variety of tasks geared toward supporting the Child Care Health Consultant Network. This may include supporting the program intake process, analyzing and updating data, completing reports, updating the website landing page, maintaining a strong knowledge of the Child Care Aware of Kansas database (WorkLife Systems), notetaking, processing grant paperwork and promoting services.
Child Care Health Consultant (Tier 1)
The Child Care Health Consultant supports the recruitment, successful licensing, and initial start-up/operations of new child care providers by providing holistic, strength-based, individualized coaching and support. The Consultant works collaboratively with the Child Care Health Consultant Network team to enhance the health, safety, and wellness of young children, families, and staff in child care/early childhood settings. the Consultant collaborates with directors, teachers, and family child care providers to support compliance with regulations/standards and promote best practices to ensure children’s safe and healthy development.
Child Care Health Consultant (Tier 2)
The Child Care Health Consultant supports the health, safety and wellness of young children, families and staff in child care/early childhood settings. The Consultant fosters quality child care by observing for recommended practices and identifying hazards in the facility or family child care home; the Consultant collaborates with directors, teachers, and family child care providers to support compliance with regulations/standards and promote best practices to ensure children’s safe and healthy development.
Nurse Consultant (Tier 3)
The Nurse Consultant works towards enhancing the child care provider experiences by providing health industry expertise and resources to help child care providers make fact-based decisions about health-related issues, as well as helping the Child Care Health Consultants be informed about healthcare standards. The Nurse Consultant collaborates with directors, teachers, and family child care providers and promotes best practices to ensure children’s safe and healthy development. The Nurse Consultant provides guidance to child care programs in partnership with the Child Care Health Consultants by participating in consultation visits.
