Child Care Programs need to be in good standing with Kansas Department of Health and Environment (KDHE) to apply for a Grant and carefully follow grant submission instructions.

DOUGLAS COUNTY

The Douglas County Board of County Commissioners awarded funding from the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security Act (“CARES”) to help Douglas County child care programs meet operational challenges caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, recognizing that child care is an essential and necessary component of the infrastructure of the community.

 Working in partnership with Child Care Aware® of Eastern Kansas, we will distribute Supply & Sustainability grants.

 Supply & Sustainability Grants are available for Douglas County licensed child care programs including:

  • Family child care programs (including Group)
  • Centers
  • Preschool programs
  • School Age programs

SALINE COUNTY
