More Details Coming Soon

Child Care Aware of Kansas is excited to announce that we will be offering Child Care Community Partnership Grants (CCCPG) in the 2024/2025 fiscal year!!

It is anticipated applications will open in September and close the end of October. More information will follow in the coming weeks.

These grants will be different from previous opportunities. Awardees will be sub-recipients and need to follow more stringent guidelines in comparison to the last round of CCCPG funding.

We will be awarding 15 Community-Led Coalitions $30,000 to focus on one of the following:

  • Coalition Structure, Management and Sustainability
  • Bridging the Gap: Local businesses and child care
  • Continued Capacity Building: What’s Next
  • Creating More Slots

The Community-Led Coalitions who plan to apply, and don’t hold a 501c3, 501c6, or USD designation need to have a signed formal agreement with a fiscal agent who meets the above criteria. Once an agreement is on file, Child Care Aware cannot make changes to the fiscal agent designation.

Fiscal Agents MUST be registered with Sam.gov. This registration process may take several weeks. It is important to secure this registration as soon as possible to ensure there is not a delay in award. The following documents are required and must be received by CCAKS prior to award:

  • Printed proof of active registration from Sam.gov
  • Debarment memo
  • Sexual harassment policy
  • Special provisions memo
  • Boycott of Israel form
  • Tax Clearance form from the State of Kansas
  • Sub-grantee acknowledgement form
  • Signed MOU (once awarded)

Community-Led Coalitions will be required to attend a Communities in Action Workshop (offered virtually each quarter) and/or a Focused Community Workshop (3 hour, in-person or virtually, typically held during your coalition meeting). Your Community Engagement Coordinator will set this up with you when available.

Technical assistance will be provided during the application process. Once an application is submitted, however, there will not be ongoing TA. To those awarded, funds will be distributed in one payment within 60 days following receipt of all required documents, and attendance of a workshop is confirmed.

Child Care Aware of Kansas is excited to bring this opportunity to communities across the state! All Community-Led Coalitions are welcome and encouraged to apply.

Please reach out to your Community Outreach Coordinator or email communitysupport@ks.childcareaware.org if you have questions!
