The Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic is rapidly changing our normal day-to-day activities. We, like many others, are attempting to deal with the outbreak by following public health official’s guidance on how to protect our team and early childhood care and education professionals. We are trying to continue to operate as normally as possible and support Kansas child care programs.
Generally, Child Care Aware of Kansas and our CCR&R partners are limiting our face-to-face services (onsite coaching visits, classroom trainings, group meetings) to follow social distancing guidelines at this time. In some circumstances, we may offer the service online (as feasible). Please connect with your CCAKS/CCR&R Consultant for the latest information about our plans.
If you have questions about how you should prepare, connect with your local county health department and local licensing surveyors. We know how hard you are working to keep your environment clean and healthy! We want to thank you for your support of Kansas families and children.
Our commitment to you during this situation remains strong.
