    Follow these easy steps to get started on your new career in early childhood.
  • Learn about child care licensing and find your local licensing surveyor to talk about orientation at Kansas Department of Health and Environment.
  • All licensed child care providers are required to have a criminal background check completed. Check out the Kansas Department of Health and Educations website for background check information and to find out when and where to complete fingerprinting.

Create Your Online Provider Profile

Set up an online provider profile that parents and families can view when searching for child care. You will be able to update your openings and profile anytime, anywhere. Check back as often as you like to find out how many times your child care program has been given out as a referral to families in a 3 month time frame.
