Community Outreach & Engagement Coordinator
Applicant must reside in western Kansas – Remote Position
If you have strong facilitation and communication skills and would enjoy working with a variety of people and communities in their efforts to promote high-quality early learning environments, then this is an opportunity you should consider! We are looking for someone to oversee multifaceted community outreach and engagement goals that support child care providers, families and young children in child care.
Three Positions (applicant must reside in following areas):
Southwestern Kansas – 2 Remote positions
Bilingual Consultant – 1 statewide remote position
Community Consultants deliver services that support and assist participants to improve child care program quality with a high focus on achievement, review, and assessment of child care provider-led quality improvement goals focused on strong business practices; collaborating and supporting Links to Quality participants by providing technical assistance, referrals and collaboration with peer networks and a cadre of established coaches, and technical assistance providers to support child care professionals.
The Shared Services Manager provides leadership on programming that will improve any/all aspects of child care quality guided by best practices. Working in collaboration with organizational leadership, this position is responsible for all aspects of shared services including service delivery standards and policies, budget development and fiscal management, and evaluation in accordance with contract deliverables. Shared Service implementation, promotion, and policy and procedure implementation are primary focuses.
To complete a variety of tasks geared toward supporting shared services. This may include supporting the program intake process, analyzing and updating data, completing reports, updating the website landing page, maintaining a strong knowledge of the Child Care Aware of Kansas database (WorkLife Systems), distributing newsletters and email blasts, processing grant paperwork and promoting services.
