Kali is a Kansas native, originally from Overland Park, and has lived in Manhattan for the past 14 years. She graduated from Kansas State University with a master’s degree in family studies and a bachelor’s degree in family studies & human services. She has worked in both the military and civilian sectors of early childhood education. She joined Child Care Aware of Kansas in March 2022.
