Your Quality Improvement Coach

Every child care provider in Kansas has access to a Quality Improvement Coach (QIC) - a local CCAKS staff member assigned to your area. Your QIC provides one-on-one coaching, mentoring, and technical assistance tailored to your program’s specific needs.

Support is available at no-cost virtually, by phone, or in person, and you set the pace.

Your consultant can help you with:

  • Quality improvement planning and goal-setting

  • Navigating child care business challenges

  • Connecting to grants, funding, and local resources

  • Setting up your learning environment and program policies

  • Assisting with Child Care Management Systems

  • Finding services available in your area

Provider Support Group

In addition to one-on-one support, your Quality Improvement Coach can connect you with a Provider Support Group Meeting - a monthly peer network where child care providers in your region to across the state come together to share challenges, exchange ideas, and work toward common goals.

Meetings are provider-driven, which means you help shape what gets discussed.
