We want you to succeed in your work. We know that you are not fully supported by our current child care system and that Child Care Aware of Kansas has not always been a trusted partner.
To better serve you, we are taking steps to promote diversity, equity, inclusion, and access within our organization. Our work includes ongoing training for staff members, changing policies and practices to be more inclusive, and hiring diverse individuals who speak multiple languages. These steps are just the start of our efforts – all aimed at building supportive relationships and increasing your access to the resources, information, and support you seek and deserve.
Our team is prepared to listen to your needs and concerns, answer your questions, provide information in languages other than English, and connect you with other resources. We also advocate with state leaders to make the child care system work better for you.

When you contact us, we will walk through the steps of starting your own child care business that you own and manage. We can also assist with forms and licensing and address any challenges with the process. When you’re ready, we can work together to promote your business to families in your area and continue to answer any questions you have.
