Our team is prepared to listen to your needs and concerns, answer your questions, provide information in languages other than English, and connect you with other resources. We also advocate with state leaders to make the child care system work better for you.
We can help in these ways, with staff available who speak Spanish and other languages:
- Connect with and discuss experiences with other Black or Latino child care providers.
- Find grants, training, and other resources to support your business.
- Offer a safe space to share challenges and problem solve together.
- Assist with the health, safety, and education of young children and how to manage your business.
- Check in regularly to see how you’re doing and how we can help.
Help you create a plan to meet your goals and sustain the care you provide.
You have a lot to offer kids and families. You bring unique experiences and skills that can prepare kids to engage in the world, while also running a business that supports your community and your family. We can help you get set up!
When you contact us, we will walk through the steps of starting your own child care business that you own and manage. We can also assist with forms and licensing and address any challenges with the process. When you’re ready, we can work together to promote your business to families in your area and continue to answer any questions you have.
To get started, call us at 855-750-3343 or email us at info@ks.childcareaware.org. Support is available in Spanish, as well as other languages.
